These are my two collage images. Collages are my most favorite to do. In the left one, I experienced a lot with juxtaposition. I like the look of ordinary objects in space. I thought that the coins almost resembled planets. I put X's over the eyes of the people because I thought it looked interesting. On the right was my identity collage. I enjoyed making this because I got to add elements that I liked and was inspired by modern day aesthetics or what is considered "my aesthetic". Overall I felt that both of these were very successful and I felt that I learned a lot more about collage.

Persuasive painting
When we were given something to do for persuasive art, for some reason this was the only thing that popped into my mind. I started by looking up images on google of "person putting on lipstick". I started to notice a lot of pop art images and I came across one that was very similar to this. I used the image and changed it around to make a man and a women. I added the additional text at the bottom too. I felt that at the beginning I felt that I had trouble making the head shapes correctly. But in the end, I made it as best as possible and when I painted it, I felt that it really stood out and was really successful.

Things we fear
For this, I wanted to do something where a person was unmasking themselves to reveal what's really there. I really liked how the pretty face turned out because I feel it looks really detailed. I used a picture of me holding something up to get the perspective of the hand. I felt I could of done better on the scary face because I just kind of scribbled on the paper and tried to make it looked like the face was wounded/burned. Overall I felt pretty okay about this piece.
